Race/result you are most proud of: Gold medal at Panamerican Games in Toronto 2015, Games held every 4 years, this victory happened after a nice hard fight. Racing in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is a definite highlight and a dream come true.

Strengths: Overall short and long climb. Start, technical mud or dry.

Some non-cycling accolades: I just completed my bachelor degree in physical education teaching at Université Laval in Québec

The ultimate goal: World cup podium and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games

Food: Sushi and oysters. Coffee

Book: None specific but reading cyclists biography these days

Possession: Family and friends and the memories built along the way

Type of trail: Everything

Riding conditions: Being from the cold and snowy Québec, I don’t mind it when I am cross-country skiing, but on the bike I do prefer when it’s hot, very hot, except for cyclocross – mud fest please!

Favourite place: Home or anywhere on the road where you are surrounded by good friends and loved ones. Warm and sunny prefered.

What does it mean to you to be part of Silverback OMX Pro Team?

I am thrilled to join the Silverback OMX Pro team in 2018. Joining a European based UCI world cup team with years of experience is very positive, I have a good feeling with the discussions I had with the team and can feel their passion and highest level of professionalism and attention to details. I am very enthusiastic for whats ahead in 2018 and thankful we could sign a 3 year agreement inline with my goals building towards the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. I look forward to meeting my teammates and I am happy I can count on a strong team for the world cups abroad.
